In our equestrian club in Vilanova you can take the Galope exams and obtain your official horsemanship level accreditation. Galopes are the Training Programs established by the Royal Spanish Equestrian Federation (RFHE). It consists of 9 levels of riding technique, management and care of the horses, in the three stages of sports training: Initiation (Galopes from 1 to 4), Improvement (Galopes 5 and 6) and Specialization (Galope 7). Galopes 8 and 9 are obtained for sporting merits.
WHY SHOULD I HAVE THE GALOPES?
Having your official accreditation allows you to ride at any center they have a knowledge of the level of riding that you have.
They are equated to other countries that use the same system so if you go on vacation they will also help you (French Galopes, etc.)
ACCESS TO COMPETITIONS
They are essential to access official competitions and also necessary to access intensive courses and any other official practice.
WHERE CAN I GET MY ACCREDITATION?
Our equestrian club in Vilanova is approved by the RFHE to do the galope exams, with a category of 2 stirrups.
The evaluations consist of a theoretical part, a mounted part and a handling part. At the end of the page you have links with information about what goes into each galope. The theoretical part is cumulative (you can ask about concepts from previous exams).
To access it is necessary to have the previous levels, except for those over 18 who can directly access Galope 4. It is also necessary that a minimum period of time pass between exams for those under 16 years of age and in any case always have the accreditation above (cannot take two exams at the same time).
One or two sports technicians with official examiner accreditation from our own equestrian center in Vilanova perform the Galopes 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 exams, plus an external technician in Galopes 4 and 7.
