SERVICES FOR THEM

PADDOCKS WITH SHELTERS

We have 20 paddocks, of different dimensions, all with shelters and automatic drinkers. The paddocks offer more movement to the horse and allow them to interact more closely with the horses next to them. Ideal if you have little time to ride, if you have older or younger horses with a greater need for movement.
The paddocks of our equestrian club, near Vilanova, facilitate the tasks of boarding, since they are cleaned weekly and, optionally, a bed of straw or shavings can be put in the shelter.

STABLE + DAY PADDOCK

We have 24 3mx3m stables with day paddocks. All the horses that live in these stables go out to the 5m x 15m paddocks during the day. It is a good option for any horse, especially if it works daily or is in competition and, in any case, if you want your horse to rest more protected from the weather.
All the stables are made daily, have a bed of straw (or shavings under supplement) and automatic drinker.

XL STABLES WITH TERRACE AND DAY PADDOCK

We have 10 3.5m × 3.5m stables with a terrace and exit during the day to the 5m x 15m fence. Recommended for horses of great size, that work daily or that are in competition. All the horses go out to the individual enclosures daily to have more freedom of movement and to interact with other horses.
The stables are cleaned daily and have a bed of straw (or shavings at an additional cost) and an automatic drinker.

FEEDING

All boarding options include hay-based feeding divided into a minimum of 3 daily intakes (see slow feeders options) and a supplement with cereal muesli for all horses that need more energy.

The feeding of a horse, as a herbivore, must be based on forage. In order to compensate for the energy waste caused by exercise, the diet is supplemented with cereal muesli-based feed, but this should not exceed 20% of the diet or 1% of body weight. Our feed is of good quality and suitable for horses that do a medium job, but if they need any special feed due to their own characteristics (gestation, older horses, in recovery, etc.) we can help you find it. Due to the characteristics of the horse’s digestive system, the quality of the forage is very important, feeding with straw is not considered adequate, since it is very woody, fiber is not used and causes colic problems.
