HORSE RIDING SUMMER CAMP 2023
Our Horse Summer camp, close to Vilanova, is aimed at children and young adults between the ages of 4 and 16 with a great desire to have a good time with horses and learn. If your children have never ridden before or if they have been riding before you will notice big improvements during the Summer Camp. The possibility of spending so many hours surrounded by nature and learning about the equine world is a great experience for young animal lovers. We create groups for all levels, from beginners to those who are at a competing level, so that everyone can learn at the level they require. They will love it!

WHY ROSPER?
Rosper’s facilities are spacious and ideal to enjoy a Riding Camp in a gorgeous setting. Our ponies and horses are happy and well cared for, and enjoy the company of children of all ages. We organise camps throughout the year to bring children together with horses and teach from very early learners to competition level riders. The camps are ideal for learning a lot in a very short amount of time, as appropriate classes are given to the level of each group and a lot of time really is spent with the monitor who helps each student to get the most out of the camps. They will love it!

An unforgettable Summer Camp
Activities that take place

VAULTING
Activity carried out with a horse with the objective to practice balance and confidence. The riders take part in different walking, trotting and/or canter activities mounted on the horse with a shawl and girth. The horse is controlled by the monitor on a lunging rein. For this activity no prior experience is needed and children from 5 years onwards can participate.

GYMKHANA
The participants are divided into groups and take part in different activities: The Flag, two members of each team compete to grab a flag held in the middle of both of them. On the other hand they take part in a relay race where the members of each team have to change over their pony throughout the circuit. Apt for children from 8 years of age, no prior experience necessary.

CARRIAGE RIDES
For the youngsters (from 3 to 6 years of age) they get carried through our facilites by Duna and her carriage.

GROOMING
The activity consists of learning how to brush a pony/horse with the correct brushes and how to stroke them. From 3 years of age.

HORSE SHOE PAINTING
Our paint workshop is always a great success. Children paint horse shoes with different colours and can take it home as a souvenir.
RIDES AROUND THE FACILITES
Pony rides through the facilities with 2 to 4 ponies from the age of 3.
On a farm with 6 hectares of land with areas of vineyards, fruit trees and the emblematic presence of our great centenary pine, you will enjoy incredible facilities
